2026 Season of Giving: Dan On Foundation Brings Joy to More Than 4,200 Children

The Mid-Autumn Festival has long been a special time of love and togetherness, especially for children. Under the bright August moon, every child deserves to experience joy, care and warmth, no matter where they come from or the circumstances they are growing up in.

As part of the festive Mid-Autumn celebrations, the Dan On Foundation, a charitable foundation of the Dan D Foods Group, recently organized “A Joyful Mid-Autumn Festival – Sharing Love, Inspiring Brighter Futures” at the premises of Dan On Foods Corporation – My Phuoc 3 Branch.

The event welcomed more than 400 children from Lai Thieu Ethnic Shelter, together with the children of Dan On Foods employees, for a lively and memorable evening filled with laughter, colorful lanterns and the joyful spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The evening began with a fun street-food experience featuring a variety of familiar favorites, from purple sweet potato cakes, Vietnamese rice paper salad and rice rolls to fresh spring rolls, fried chicken, sweet soups and pearl milk tea. The food stalls were prepared and served by Dan On Foods employees, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the children and their families.

While enjoying the food, the children also had the opportunity to watch a traditional Vietnamese “tò he” artist create colorful figurines by hand. More than a simple Mid-Autumn gift, tò he is closely connected with childhood memories and Vietnamese folk culture. Through this experience, the children had a chance to discover and connect with a small but meaningful part of Vietnam’s traditional heritage.

Through the food stalls, the Foundation also received more than VND 6,000,000 in donations from participating children and parents, adding another meaningful touch of sharing to the evening.

For many children, the Mid-Autumn Festival truly comes alive with the arrival of the colorful lion, unicorn and dragon dance performers. Cheers and laughter filled the venue as the festive drums echoed through the night. The energetic performances brought the familiar spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival to life, along with wishes of happiness, good luck and a bright future for all the children.

Following the performances, the stage continued to come alive with energetic group performances by the children from Lai Thieu Ethnic Shelter. The evening also featured fun reaction games that challenged the children’s speed and quick thinking. Excitement and laughter filled the venue as they took on each challenge.

As the joyful evening came to an end, the children received special Mid-Autumn gifts filled with care and love. These included Mid-Autumn mooncakes from the Dan On Foods Trade Union, adorable water bottles from Duy Tan Plastics, and colorful lanterns and “tò he” from UOB. Each gift carried a simple message of care and warm wishes for the children.

The children and their families also had the opportunity to enjoy a spectacular musical water show right on the company grounds. Music, lights and colorful water movements came together to create a lively and memorable moment, bringing the warm and colorful Mid-Autumn evening to a beautiful close.

Through the support of the Dan On Foundation, Dan On Foods Corporation, Duy Tan Plastics and UOB, we hope this celebration brought the children a warm and joyful Mid-Autumn Festival filled with laughter, childhood memories and moments they can carry with them as they grow.

The Dan On Foundation would like to express our sincere appreciation and best wishes for good health and continued growth to all the organizations and partners who joined us in making this meaningful celebration possible.
