Dan On Foundation and Cherished Christmas Memories
Over the years, Dan On Foods has not only brought a diverse portfolio of high-quality products to the market, but has also quietly sown seeds of compassion in communities facing hardship. Our journey of giving has never been measured by numbers; rather, it is felt through the radiant eyes of children, their warm smiles, and a renewed sense of hope inspired within young hearts.
Building on this spirit, the Sapa 2025 Light Up Christmas was held over two days, 25th–26th December 2025, as a cherished annual reunion that the children eagerly look forward to each year. For them, it is not merely a visit, but a truly special time of the year — a moment to play, to be heard, and to feel genuinely cared for.
As part of the program, the children took part in two excursions held on separate days. On 25 December 2025, they visited Border Marker 102, a site symbolizing the nation’s territorial identity, where many listened for the first time to stories about the border and their homeland.
On this occasion, students with high academic achievements were also awarded a cash gift of VND 200,000 each by Dan On Foundation, enabling them to choose toys they enjoyed at Coc Leu Market, as a meaningful gesture of encouragement and recognition for their academic effort
On 26th December 2025, the children continued their journey with a visit to Muong Hoa Station, broadening their horizons and experiencing new spaces within the familiar landscape of Sapa.
In addition to activities for the children, Dan On Foundation also focused on supporting the local community. All food ingredients for the program were purchased directly from Sapa Market, helping local vendors increase their income and supporting local livelihoods
In addition, Dan On Foundation supported the renovation of restroom facilities and the installation of a computer room, helping create a better living and learning environment and giving children greater access to knowledge and technology.
Beyond the excursions, the children also enjoyed hearty meals and received warm gifts. Each smile that day became a cherished Christmas memory, accompanying them on their journey of growing up.
