On 5–6 June, Dan On Foundation collaborated with Westcoast International Dental Clinic to organize a dental check-up and cultural experience program for the children of Tinh Me 2 Shelter, with the aim of providing comprehensive healthcare while creating opportunities for the children to build confidence, explore new experiences, and engage more actively with the community.
As part of the program, the children received dental examinations, oral health assessments, and professional consultations from the dentists and specialists of Westcoast International Dental Clinic. The activity not only helped raise awareness of the importance of oral hygiene from an early age but also encouraged the development of healthy habits for long-term well-being.
Following the dental check-ups, Dan On Foundation took the children on a meaningful journey through Ho Chi Minh City. One of the highlights of the trip was their visit to Ben Thanh Market, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks and a popular destination for both local and international visitors. In this vibrant setting, the children confidently performed musical acts, overcoming their shyness and expressing themselves in front of the public.
The excursion also gave the children an opportunity to discover local culture, enjoy traditional Vietnamese cuisine, and experience the dynamic atmosphere of the city. These meaningful activities not only brought joy to the children but also helped strengthen their confidence, communication skills, and understanding of Vietnamese culture and society.
Through this initiative, Dan On Foundation hopes to continue promoting the spirit of compassion and social responsibility by supporting the holistic development of children, both physically and emotionally.
